I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bartschi or all of the wonderful staff here at Northwood! I previously put off a root canal that was recommended several years ago after my current dentist referred me out to an endodontist. Previously, my dentist was able to do root canals in his office, but he recently took a step back from doing so, and I was REALLY apprehensive to see anyone else after a terrible experience with an endodontist in my early 20s. I finally got up the courage (and having dental insurance now also helped lol) to make an appointment with Dr. Bartschi after my dentist highly recommended him and mentioned how kind and compassionate he is. I was skeptical, but my visit this morning proved my dentist right! From booking the appointment to checking in, the experience was so simply, and I had great communication and reminders from the office all along the way. I received a treatment estimate before my visit, which outlined anticipated costs for just the consultation, as well as anticipated costs for the procedure (if it was deemed to be needed). It was so helpful to know all of this info and what my insurance would likely cover before even getting there. Upon arrival, I was greeted by 3 sweet folks at the front desk, who helped me get checked in quickly. I was then taken back for a quick CT scan, then taken back to the exam room. Dr. Bartschi came in to see me within a few short minutes, and was so kind and amicable. He actively listened while I explained what brought me to the office today, my other health issues, and what my anxieties and questions were going into this appointment. He then thoroughly explained what he suspected was going on with my tooth, what all of my options were, and answered all of my questions patiently. Since I moved forward with doing the root canal today, I can say that they were so great about explaining what they were doing before they did anything (whether it was x-rays, injections, numbing gel, bite block, etc.), and they made sure I was doing okay throughout the procedure. I have no doubt that if I had experienced any pain whatsoever, Dr. Bartschi would have immediately stopped and taken the concern seriously, and I share that in hopes it gives someone else peace of mind! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND Northwood Endodontics! I know no one ever *wants* to have dental work done, but if you need it, you will be in highly-skilled, compassionate hands at this practice.

The doctor had his work cut out for him, spending 2 ½ hours working the tooth. He did find the roots, which were below a post that had been inserted some time in the past, and was seated on top of the root. To get rid of that post, he drilled against the post with a diamond drill. Once removed, he could work on the roots. I saw an x-ray of the completed work and I was very pleased with the results. I had the impression that he had just accomplished what I considered to be a work of art. Yes, he was able to get to the bacterial sac and medicated it. He considered this to be the actual source of the infection, with the sac developing above both tooth #4 and #5.

Awesome experiences from start to finish. Front desk was very welcoming and helpful getting things started. DR and staff explained everything thoroughly before any imaging or oral procedures and took time periodically to explain again and clarify what was happening next. They made me feel extremely comfortable all the way. I was there almost 2 hours, but it didn't feel that way at all. I Highly recommend Northwood Endodontics if you are in need of any types of care they provide.

Dr. Bartschi and Shanequa are the best! I came in for a root canal. The office has a relaxed, friendly yet professional environment. The procedure was clearly explained to me and all my questions answered. I felt safe and welcomed. Dr. Bartschi and Shanequa also made sure I was okay throughout the process. Highly recommended!

From the moment I arrived, the staff consisting of Shanequa and Cristina were incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Bartschi took the time to walk me through every step of the procedure, answered all of my questions with patience, and truly made me feel at ease. His calm demeanor, precision, and expertise turned what I expected to be a stressful experience into a surprisingly smooth and painless one. I barely felt a thing during the root canal, and the recovery was quick and easy. The office itself is spotless and modern, and they use the latest technology, which only added to my confidence in their care. Everyone made me feel like I was in excellent hands the entire time. If you're looking for a highly skilled Endodontist in Dallas, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bartschi and Northwood Endodontics. This is truly the best dental experience I've ever had — thank you for making a root canal something I can actually say I’m grateful for!

Never expected to be saying good things about a root canal but here we are. After the procedure the first thing that came to mind was, wow that was smooth. Dr. Bartschi & his Assistant Shanequa are amazing. They know exactly what they’re doing. The entire office is so welcoming & nice to work with. Krystal will answer any question before & after your appointment. 100% recommend, no more root canal anxiety!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Bartschi and his skilled team. I came to him as a new patient in severe pain due to an old root canal gone bad, desperate for help and relief. He is not only highly skilled in handling tooth emergencies, he and his team were also compassionate and patient with me along this “journey” from excruciating pain to complete relief. He brings an extensive technical expertise as well as a genuine understanding of how it feels to be overcome with tooth pain, which made a rough situation much better very quickly. The tooth was badly behaved— but Dr Bartschi was available and reachable even under unexpected circumstances so he could alleviate the problem. He and his team are the standard dentists should look to in serving patients and the profession. I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for this wonderful team. I highly recommend Northwood Endodontics with my deepest gratitude.

Dr Kade Bartschi is absolutely amazing, He made emergency time for me to come in and figure out what was going on. The place I was at before weren’t able to identify it and he took every step to figure it out. He kept me calm. Gave me hope. Allowed me to leave feeling better and with a solution 10/10 recommend this place.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Kade Bartschi for a root canal procedure and I’m so glad she did! The office/staff were able to schedule an appointment for me almost immediately after I called. I tend to be pretty particular about dental work (given that I’ve had so much work done) and ask a lot of questions, and Dr. Bartschi did an amazing job with the procedure and was so patient and thorough in answering my questions. He even called to check on me the following day to make sure everything was okay. 1000% recommend him for his knowledge and expertise.

I had a root canal performed by Dr. Bartschi at the recommendation of my dentist a couple months back. It went well. Recently, due to an old filling, I snapped one of my front teeth off leaving a noticeable gap. My dentist said he needed a root canal with a post before he could begin work. So I knew exactly who to go to. I happened to mention to Dr. Bartschi that I had a presentation the next day and hopefully the audience wouldn't notice the obvious missing tooth. At the end of my procedure Dr. Bartschi crafted a small temporary tooth in the place of the old one. That extra attention to detail has me sold on him.
